Gabriel Fauré: Après un rêve [Janine Jansen, Itamar Golan]
Accompanied by the Israeli pianist Itamar Golan on piano, Dutch violinist Janine Jansen performs Après un rêve, a classical art song composed by French composer Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924). It was originally written for voice and piano in 1877, with lyrics by Romain Bussine (1830-1899). The title translates to “After a Dream” in English.
Beethoven/Rubinstein: Turkish March [Evgeny Kissin]
Russian-born British classical pianist Evgeny Kissin plays Ludwig van Beethoven’s Turkish March (Marcia alla turca) at the BBC proms. The popular piano arrangement of the piece was made by the famous Russian pianist and conductor Anton Rubinstein (1829-1894).

Russian-born British and Israeli pianist Evgeny Kissin plays Étude Op. 25, No. 11 in A minor, a solo piano technical study composed by Frédéric Chopin in 1836. The piece is often referred to as the Winter Wind in English and literarily Seasoned Plants in some other languages.
