Chopin – Four Ballades (Krystian Zimerman)

Polish virtuoso pianist Krystian Zimerman performs Frédéric Chopin’s four ballades. Composed between 1831 and 1842, four ballades are one-movement pieces for solo piano. They are widely considered some of the most challenging pieces in the standard piano repertoire.

One of the finest living pianists, the Polish classical pianist Krystian Zimerman plays Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Sonata No. 10 in C major, K 330 (300h). The work was composed in 1783, when Mozart was twenty-seven years old, and first published in 1784.
