Mozart – Symphony No. 3

Manchester based Northern Chamber Orchestra plays Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s so-called Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, K. 18, once attributed to Mozart, is by today’s scholarship considered not to be Mozart’s own work but instead that of Carl Friedrich Abel, a leading German composer (he was also a renowned player of the viola da gamba, and composed important music for that instrument) of the earlier Classical period. Mozart – Symphony No. 2 in B flat major (Northern Chamber Orchestra)

Manchester based Northern Chamber Orchestra plays Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 2 in B flat major, KV 17. Conductor: Nicholas Ward. In fact, the symphony is now considered to be not by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, but by possibly his father, Leopold Mozart.
